Some quick updates regarding DC for this year. Many things are still in the process of being organized so we are working hard to make sure everything is ready. As you see the registration process this year is entirely online. This is one of the few things that we hope make things easier for parents to track their payments and conveniently process their payments. We hope that is working.
Some additional information regarding DC for this year:
1. We have had to tentatively close registrations for parent chaperones. We have had a great turnout this year for the trip and we want to ensure that we can take as many students that want to join us. With that being said we will work to take as many people as we can on this trip; including adult chaperones. If you would like to be added to the waitlist please email Mr. Sams directly
2. Please be aware of two dates that are upcoming parent meeting dates. We will meet on September 17th @ 7pm-8pm in the Pit. This will be directly after the Beta Club induction ceremony so hopefully you may already be there. In addition, we will have a meeting on September 26th from 6-7pm. Please do your best to make one of these meetings as this year a parent/guardian must attend at least one meeting. If you already came to our May meeting then you have already met the parent meeting requirement. However, feel free to come to a September meeting as well if you would like. All of these meetings will be the same general information and the reason we are requiring it is because we want parents aware of what is going on and how to receive information about the trip. We will also post the powerpoint online. At the meeting you can also fill out our permission slip and emergency contact information sheet.
