We wanted to let everyone know about a few items to be aware of. We are less than 2 weeks to go so there are many things to be aware of:
1. On Monday, in the 8th grade hallways, we will post bus lists for our trip. We have been working hard to make sure all the chaperones are in place as well as making sure that medical concerns are all met. Those lists will only be in printed form and posted only in our hallway. Those lists will be the final bus lists for the trip.
2. At this point all medical forms as well as medicine should have been submitted. We will only accept additional medicine on an emergency basis from this point forward. Thank you to everyone who has been so helpful in getting those forms and medicines into our nurse. She will be very busy.
3. Next Wednesday we plan on distributing trip hoodies and shirts that were included in the cost of the trip. It is expected that these shirts/hoodies are worn the entire trip. Student hoodies/shirts are bright orange which help us keep track of the over 400 students attending this trip.
4. Monday, March 9th students attending the trip will be required to attend a bus meeting at teamtime. This meeting will be specific to the bus students are on. We will make sure students know where they are supposed to be and this is a great meeting so students know their bus teachers and those teachers can go over expectations for their specific bus.
5. Lastly and most importantly, our buses will depart Marvin Ridge Middle School at 6 am. This means that students will need to arrive at Marvin Ridge Middle School no later than 5:30 am. In that Monday meeting we will confirm where their specific bus will meet the morning of departure.
